Operation Thunderbolt 1976 Anabenete

Operation Thunderbolt 1976 Anabenete That's what Israel did on July 4 that was never beforeTo rescue his captives, 41 years ago, Israel's adventurous mission in Uganda was an incomparable July 4, 1976. When a ship landed at Uganda's Entebbe Airport and a black-colored Mercedes and two landrovers were coming out and moving towards the terminal, the soldiers of Uganda were amazed. President Idi Amin also came in this style. But the Ugandan soldiers were shocked that Amin had started using white Mercedes instead of Kali a week ago.Although he was too late until he became aware. Before going to their rifles, the car and the two landrovers sitting behind them had come under the command of the Israeli commandos. They piled up the soldiers with silencer guns. The soldiers were counted before going back. After this, the fighters of Uganda standing on the airport were demolished, so that the possibility of chasing would be over. After this the commandos escalated to the terminal where the Israeli passengers who were hosted a week ago were kept. He asked the passengers to lie down and asked him in Hebrew where he was the captive abductor. The passengers pointed towards a door that opened in the hall. The commandos escalated and until the abductor was arrested, they were eliminated.Meanwhile, three more Israeli aircraft had landed on the runway. Two of these were Israeli soldiers and one was empty where the hostages were to be taken back. Only 20 minutes after the operation began, the captives were taken to the empty plane. Meanwhile, firing by Ugandai troops intensified. Airport lights were closed. But Israeli commandos continued the campaign by protecting themselves from large losses.Within one hour of Israeli aircraft landing in Entebbe, the most dangerous part of this daring rescue mission was over. The soldiers were counted before going back. After this, the fighters of Uganda standing on the airport were demolished, so that the possibility of chasing would be over. All seven abductors were killed in this mission. 20 Ugandan soldiers were also farming Only one soldier of Israel was killed in the whole operation. These lieutenants were Colonel Netanyahu who had a bullet. They were injured. Returning to Israel, he died on the plane itself. The crisis that ended on July 4, 1976, was started on 27 June. A flight going from Paris to Tel Aviv to Paris for some time after a flight stopped in Athens, four passengers got up for pistol and grenades and the aircraft was first taken to Libya's Benghazi and then to Uganda's Entebbe Airport. It was later discovered that it was the work of members of the Popular Front for the Liberation for Palestine. Ugandan dictator Idi Amin sympathized with the kidnappers. Here the Jewish hostages were separated. After this, the kidnappers demanded that 54 Palestinian prisoners living in Israel, Kenya, and then Western German jails would be released, otherwise they would begin to beat the hostages one by one.In one night, a fake terminal was erected in Israel, in which the commandos conducted a thorough rehearsal of the attack. Meanwhile, the government of Israel continued to talk to the kidnappers. The crisis was serious. The way to cope with it was also very difficult. The distance between Entebbe and Israel was about four thousand kilometers. It was very difficult to think about the rescue mission. But relatives of the passengers had started performing in Tel Aviv. The hostages were also relatives of the then Israeli Prime Minister Rabin, so the pressure on the government was increasing. The paths were three. Entering Uganda on the way through the air, waterways and third Kenya.Eventually the first option was agreed. After this, on July 4, four Hercules aircraft flew with some Phantom jet fighter aircraft from Israel. Among them, there were 200 soldiers of the army's best. The plan was to give Ugandan soldiers the impression that President Amin is returning from traveling abroad in these aircraft. Amin had gone to Mauritius to attend an event in those days. While flying very low, the Israeli aircrafts managed to dodge the radars of Egypt, Sudan and Saudi Arabia. Israeli soldiers wore uniforms of Uganda soldiers. One side of the journey was seven hours and was flying continuously, so air-to-air refueling aircraft were taken. Before that all the preparations had been done. Agents of Israeli detective agency Mosad had gathered every information about the Entebbe Airport. It was also an interesting coincidence that the hostel in which the hostages were kept in the airport was made by an Israeli company. It is reported that in one night a fake terminal was erected in Israel, in which the commandos used a thorough rehearsal of the attack. Meanwhile, the government of Israel kept giving indications of negotiations with the kidnappers so that the commandos could get time to rehearse the assault. After that the same happened when the news was mentioned at the beginning of the news. On July 4, Israeli soldiers were back in Tel Aviv with 102 hostages escaped. There was a huge crowd of people in his welcome. Prime Minister Rabin was present at the airport in honor of these soldiers along with the entire cabinet.
